Can you contribute fifty pence?
Starting from November we will be asking for voluntary contributions in all of the Sure Start sessions. This is to support some of the costs we have from room hire and resources. We are recommending a contribution of 50p and hope that this will mean Sure Start Foleshill can carry on offering you and your family a wide variety of activitie and support.

Things you should know about dummies

On your marks Birth-18 months

When your baby is born its important to keep the dummy clean. Always sterilise the dummy before giving it to your baby. Even when you’re out shopping or at the park, take a spare sterilised one with you. Chemists stock various types of travel containers to keep your spare dummy safe and clean.
Parents are also advised not to suck a dummy clean and then give it to your child, it could pass on germs

Another solution would be to pretend with the child that you are giving it to Santa or the Easter Bunny. Children's play parks and farms have dummy ribbons where they could be
encouraged to leave it, or health clinics have dummy bins. Whatever method you
